Assisted adults dealing with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other serious mental illnesses in overcoming various challenges and transitioning to healthy, productive lives. As key member of Kitchen Team, prepared and served three nutritious meals daily for residents and staff. On Farm Team, assisted with daily operations of a working therapeutic farm, including care of animals, cleaning of pens and stalls, and repair / maintenance of farm equipment and buildings. Assisted residents in working with animals, completing various farm tasks, and learning about farm operations.

Founded and launched a small local pet care business in Lowell, Massachusetts. Created a robust advertising campaign including flyers, business cards and a dedicated website. Managed financial operations including startup and operating costs, purchasing and budgeting. Communicated with customers on a daily basis via email, text and phone.Walked groups of dogs outside on their scheduled day(s), in packs of one to three at a time for 30-60 minutes. Communicated with owners each walk in a notebook with a summary of the walk and if there were any serious issues that came up (or by phone for more pressing matters.) Maintained a safe, healthy and consistent routine for the animals' well-being. Showed love, comfort and companionship to each animal.Managed long-term, overnight care for dogs and/or cats. Administered medication, if needed.

Assisted Lead Teacher in the quality care, oversight, organization, and instruction of students in the two-year-old classroom. Interacted with children throughout each day, fostered reassurance, assisted with basic life and learning skills, and provided tools to encourage independence. Successfully facilitated both guided and independent activities, giving positive encouragement. Maintained a safe, organized, and clean classroom environment at all times. Planned activities that were both educational and fun, such as nature walks, singing songs and interactive games. Restored broken customer relationships and encouraged continued faith and excitement in Apple products with customers. Served as a chief technical resource not only to customers but also to fellow team members. Led and co-managed a classroom of 8-16 children, aged 18 months to 2.5 years old. Maintained a fun and consistent routine along with healthy, safe spaces for children to play and learn, interacting with their environment. Brainstormed, prepared and executed a variety of strong activity ideas to do with children.

Served as co-teacher for a classroom of 23 students, aged 6-7, developing and presenting lessons across reading, word study, writing, math, and social studies. Guided students in social, behavioral, and emotional development; maintained continuous open communication with student families and caregivers.

Provided native-English language instruction in a Japanese junior high school classrooms of English, including reading, writing, speaking and listening. Co-taught classes with Japanese teachers of English. Created many intriguing English-based projects and activities for students to utilize more English/increase their English skills.

Held responsibility for consulting and engagement with clients, performing complex IT infrastructure, environment, operational, and process analysis for such diverse organizations as Library of Congress, Arlington County, FAA Logistics Center, and Pension Benefits Guarantee Corporation. Conducted extensive client interviewing and needs analysis to inform development of enterprise-level requirements and gap, feasibility, impact, and cost / benefit analyses.
