I am a meticulous, multipassionate qualitative researcher with frontline clinical nursing and teaching experience, as well as project management experience in health services research and innovation.I am an active member of the Academy of Management, National Emergency Nurses Association, Project Management Institute, Canadian Nursing Informatics Association, and the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research. Stickler for high-quality healthcare and education. I'm a vehement advocate for careful nursing, which is why I engage in work that is focused on patient safety and advancing the Science of Care.My doctoral dissertation explores the role of Quality Improvement evaluations as potent opportunities for learning in organizations. Through this work I aim to explore how these processes may be intentionally used to support learning health systems.I'm interested in all things related to organizational learning, implementation science, patient safety, workforce capacity building (in particular, internationally educated providers), design thinking in healthcare, equity-centred patient care models, and program evaluation research.
