As a mechanical engineer with a background in medical device design, I like to leverage my knowledge to improve the clinical outcomes of cardiovascular interventions. My current project focuses on the development of polymeric stents to treat pediatric aortic coarctation. To this end, I delve into disciplines ranging from the study of the mechanical behavior of the structure to the analysis of the recellularization and thrombogenicity of the implants. I consider myself an active investigational learner, striving to work toward bringing new ideas to market and improving current technologies. I like to assume responsibilities and work on new projects that allow me to keep growing professionally and personally. I intend to focus on the industrial fields dedicated to innovation, project development and problem solving based on efficiency and creativity.
