• Collaborate deeply with Design Director to set concepts, print assortment and color direction upholding brand strategies every season (5 annual seasons: 13 fashion capsules and ongoing Essentials program).• Own all print execution from concept through production in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards, tracking progress and anticipating potential issues.• Engage in daily communication with overseas vendors commenting on strike-off development, bulk and trouble-shooting issues.• Collaborate with design to create presentations, both for market appointments and internal tools.Maintain awareness of print and color trends through shopping and market research.

• Negotiate and confirm final stock raw material minimums, lead times and prices with luxury Italian mills.• Calculate consumption of yarn by style, and place multi-million dollar yarn orders each season.• Initiate, maintain and distribute a weekly yarn schedule for stock.• Coordinate between yarn mills and factories. Ensure timely delivery for raw materials, proactively calling out risks.• Assist in costing all styles in line (initial and final) and monitor production fit approval status and raw materials status.

• Create original prints and graphics derived from drawings, sketches, scanned references and/or vintage textiles.• Refine art files to be production ready. Create layouts and workable repeats, and art packs.

• Manage team of three CAD designers. Distribute, art direct and approve their work.• Anticipate, toggle and reprioritize projects of CAD designers based on constant shifting priorities and urgent project. • Work with clients to interpret their design, color and formatting needs.

• Sole designer for luxury resort collection launch.• Ideate concept, print, color, embellishments and silhouettes that align with founders’ brand vision. Travel to St. Barths for inspiration and attend Cabana, NY trade show.

• Partner with design and sales to launch woven & cut and sew knits line at this veteran sweater company. • Work closely with private label retail partners to create custom seasonal prints, select appropriate fabrics and influence buyer decision-making.• Solely responsible for the timely creation of all print artwork and body CADs, as well as preparing design tech packs for factories ensuring deadlines are met.• Maintain awareness of trends by shopping, attending seasonal trade shows and cultivating relationships with print vendors.
