In charge of the Protection Division, tasked with programs promoting the respect of civilians in conflicts (assistance to detainees, assistance and promotion of the rights of civilians affected by conflicts, facilitating contacts between family members separated by conflicts or migration, search for missing persons)Analysis of the context, definition and implementation of operational strategies, Program management: planning monitoring and evaluating, managing human resources and budget, networking and negotiating, with national authorities and international organisationsReporting for internal and external purposes2015 - as deputy head of the Algeria office, I contributed to the management of the office and to the organisation of SWIRMO (Senior Workshop on International Rules governing Military Operations), bringing together around 100 senior military officers from 80 different countries to address the international legal framework applicable to modern military operations. 2013 to 2015 - in Ethiopia, I promoted innovative approaches in designing and managing developmental projects (mainly institutional and capacity building) with penitentiary administrations, in coordination with the Engineering Division and the Prison Services specialists. I was the direct line manager of six international staff and overall in charge of an office composed of 24 staff from 16 different nationalities.

Projects managed: “Strengthening and Developing Small and Micro Enterprises Sector in the North of the West Bank”, co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; “Distribution of School Items and Psychosocial Support to Children in Kindergartens in Tulkarem District”, funded by ECHO; "Upgrading Preschool Sector in Jerusalem Area", co-funded by the European Commission
