Barclaycard Global Business Solutions, New Business Manager.- Provide businesses with payment acceptance solutions including, eCommerce, commercial cards and our latest product ‘Bespoke Offers’.- Create a high level of sales through my own marketing strategy, territory planning and networking, whilst creating professional relationships with clients within the SME market.- Required to generate new business through independent research and implementation. Given full responsibility for building and managing a detailed merchant database for the SY, LD and parts of the LL and CH postcode.- Building strong working relationships with colleagues, and KBI’s across the region and being responsible for 12 Barclays business managers across the area. - Maintaining and managing relationships with Trade Associations and buying groups driving self- generated acquisitions. - A top performer amongst my peers, being the only graduate recruited in my intake, in the North of the country to exceed first year target. 2012 – 105%, first year to sales role. - Rating of ‘above expectations’ in my first year annual review. - Proficient use of Microsoft Office Packages, including Excel, Word, Access Outlook, Salesforce.com, various in-house banking systems and financial governance regulations.- Delivering effective presentations on Barclaycard products and services to a variety of area managers, senior business manager and channel managers with the Barclays Business Group.- Building strong internal working relationships with key stakeholders including brand, legal and compliance and product managers.- Understanding the requirements of differing trade classes and learning about each business individually to ascertain their risk factor to Barclaycard as a merchant service provider.- Relationship focused portfolio management.- Maintaining accurate date on CRM systems for reporting purposes.
