The National Coordinator for the Italian partnership involved in the ESFRI infrastructure DANUBIUS-RI oversees the collaboration between CORILA, OGS, and CNR IRSA. This role is crucial in managing and integrating the two main components of DANUBIUS-RI at the Italian level:- The Modelling Node: This thematic component focuses on developing new modelling tools, including algorithms, data-model interactions, interfaces, and links with socio-economic modelling.- Supersite “Po Delta and North Adriatic Lagoons”: This component spans the watershed and lagoons of Venice and Grado-Marano in the northeastern Adriatic Sea, encompassing the North Adriatic river system and the Po River delta-lagoons system.The National Coordinator ensures effective coordination and collaboration among these components, facilitating advanced research and development in river-sea systems.
