I support a team of barristers in the progression of their careers. My role entails; compiling bundles, drafting documents, and diary management. I also input legal data, handle correspondence between Counsel and solicitors and assist members of the public with their public access queries. I liaise regularly both orally and in writing with Courts, solicitors and Counsel to fix hearings, negotiate fees and discuss the progression of cases. My current role within Chambers is supporting the Public Law Team and so the majority of cases I deal with are in the areas of education, housing or community care.

Throughout this role, I worked both individually and within a large team, compiling files and liaising with clients, drafting letters and reports and managing accounts. I solely managed various stages of accounts using my initiative and common sense. Managing several cases at one time, I used effective time management to maintain files and produce excellent results.
