Francesca Grisot holds a PhD in Language, Culture and Society from the University of Ca’Foscari, Venice, after a Masters Degree in Linguistic and Anthropological studies of the Middle East. She obtained the certificate Advanced 2 of Persian Language at Dehkhoda Institute in Tehran, where she first met the afghan transnational migration network. She is co-founder of the international review ("A" ANVUR) ​​"Ermeneutica letteraria. Rivista internazionale".Since 2018 she has been recognized as a subject expert at the Department of Linguistic and Comparative Cultural Studies.She travelled alongside asylum seekers from Iran to Norway (2008-2014) conducting an ethnographic research for her PhD thesis and then the Marie Curie IEF proposal with the Sociology Department of Trinity College, Dublin.Since 2008 she has worked as project writer and project manager with different realities of the Third Sector and with local authorities that deal with immigration, migrant reception and social integration programs, supporting the development of migrant entrepreneurship.In 2012 she held the Professorship of ‘Metodologia preventiva per il sociale’ for the University IUSVE of Venice in the Pedagogy degree course, with a specific contribution to intercultural pedagogy.She collaborated with UNHCR, ASGI, ESCAPE and she acted as expert on Italy country conditions, providing expert statements for Wilson Solicitors LLP of London.Between 2018 and 2021 she was member of the Research Network of ASYFAIR Project, led by University of Exeter UK funded by Horizon2020 ERC Project Grant agreement ID: 677917.She is the Executive Director of C.R.E. A.
