I am a current student at UC studying towards a Master's in Strategic Communications, passionate about ballroom and Latin American dancing, and love meeting new people!Currently on the lookout for springboard opportunities in the media and communication world to share my skills in campaign planning, social media, Google Analytics, teamwork, and leadership.I have nurtured my skills through diverse experiences throughout my degree, including:A PACE internship with Hawkins,Social media work with Mainland Furniture, andMy role as a Project Researcher for HER-UKR: Challenges and Opportunities for EU Heritage Diplomacy in Ukraine. Supported by Erasmus+ and the European Commission, this project focussed on strategic communication to promote cultural resilience and public diplomacy in the face of conflict.Recently, I had the honor of presenting an analysis of international media narratives on Germany to the German Embassy in Wellington. Our research, directed by Professor Natalia Chaban, offered strategic communication insights and was discussed with HE Nicole Menzenbach, the German Ambassador to New Zealand.A large and important part of my life is competitive dancing. As a current New Zealand Ballroom and Latin American dancing champion, I pride myself on the dedication and hard work I bring to my craft. I have also been privileged to earn four consecutive Blues Awards for my dancing through the University of Canterbury.Throughout both my degree in strategic communications and competitive dancing, I’ve balanced multiple part-time jobs, including roles at the University of Canterbury, a local family-owned café, and as a reader-writer for students at St Andrew’s College. These experiences have allowed me to develop and refine my professional skills in various settings. To connect with me or discuss future opportunities, feel free to reach out here or via email.
