In this role I supported and assisted vulnerable customers to help them manage their account. I was responsible for ensuring that we treat the customer fairly, evaluating and exploring different options to make the right decision that will suit the customer’s circumstances. I used appropriate questioning to establish how our company can best support these individuals during a difficult period, showing empathy to the customer’s situation and developing a rapport.I am confident in dealing with 3rd parties such as Step Change Debt Charity, Christians Against Poverty and Citizens Advice Bureau when considering the best outcome for our customer. I also liaise with the wider business from Fraud to Customer Excellence, keeping the customer at the heart of what I do.In addition I also undertook extra responsibilities within the department and across the business such as being part of the Charity Champions, the Entertainments Committee and Making Aintree A Better Place to Work. I became an established and trusted member of the team and had been fortunate to contribute in delivering and assisting in training across mutiple departments.

As part of my role in the financial services I manage and review credit accounts on a daily basis using computerised systems. Also I actively take incoming and outbound telephone calls whilst maintaining a professional telephone manner. I inform customers of the status of their accounts and advise them appropriately of the financial implications that it could potentially have on their personal credit file. I advise customer on how they can positively influence their credit file and maintain links with credit reference agencies. On a regularly basis I speak to a number of internal departments to minimise risk posed to the company.
