Passionate about stengthening communities and local democracy, in particular, communities that are deemed “hard to hear” or are faced with multiple challenges. Working for over 20 years in the voluntary sector has led to extensive experience and interest in community development approaches including co-production, community-led action planning and participatory budgeting. A skilled facilitator with a long history of engaging successfully with a range of diverse communities of place and theme, championing and supporting them at both local and national levels.
