I am responsible for organizing and storing agency documentation according to Quality Assurance Measures. I have excellent organizational skills and can navigate and work within various databases. Collaboration is important to me, and I work closely with others to meet timelines and deadlines. I am able to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative in planning and organizing my work. As part of my role, I liaise with staffing teams and management, scheduling meetings and taking minutes. I also assist with the interview process for Direct Support Worker applicants. I review medication-related forms and reports, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement. Additionally, I handle financial tasks such as petty cash reimbursement, cash/cheque requests, and purchase orders. I complete monthly audits and reports, ensuring compliance with various requirements. Health and safety are a priority, ensuring staff complete requirements and conduct monthly walkthroughs. I handle staff scheduling and hours tracking. Overall, my role is diverse and requires a high level of organization, collaboration, and attention to detail. I facilitate a delivery of services for the people-supporting, providing guidance and coaching to my team of Direct Support Professionals, ensuring MCCSS standards are upheld and maintained, and work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team of professionals. This position requires that the successful candidate demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and appreciation for person-centered planning and approaches.
