Identifying, applying and constantly seeking to improve methods and ways of working in order to lead the team to deliver an excellent serviceResponsibilities:• Ensuring a consistent high standard of quality and customer satisfaction• Managing both labour and purchasing costs• Designing and creating seasonal food and drink menu• Responsible for recruiting and training staff, as well as monitoring performance and productivity• Formulating weekly staff rosters• Purchasing stock and negotiating with various suppliers for the best prices• Marketing activities include advertising, promotional activities and events, facebook page, trip advisor account• Responsible for the outside catering events• Coordinating staff meetings• Ensuring that health and safety as well as hygiene procedures and standards are maintained• Understanding client needs and identifying the new emerging trends within the market• Motivational techniques used amongst staff to increase sales• Ensuring that the kitchen and waiting staff work together as one team• Ensuring that the kitchen staff work efficiently and in a cost effective manner, whilst consistently delivering high levels of quality• Dealing with and resolving customer complaints
