People living with HIV in London are referred to The Food Chain for nutritional support and advice. The services are designed to help people get well, stay well and lead independent lives.• Worked as a volunteer to support service users of The Food Chain. • Regularly communicated with service users and liaised with HIV Specialist Dietitian to devise ap-propriate nutritional and dietary requirements. • Responsible for speaking to service users and answering the telephone. • Required accurate record keeping of all communication and actions using a customer relationshipmanagement programme. • Required an understanding of data protection and confidentiality. • Additional roles included formatting and composing letters and emails, answering the telephoneand researching services.

The Association for Nutrition is a professional body that holds the UK Voluntary Register for Nutri- tionists, a competency-based register of Nutritionists.• Extensive work experience in project implementation (Under the Third Sector Investment Pro- gramme).• Actively contributed to a growing professional body dedicated to regulating ethical, scientific and quality standards within the nutrition profession.• Tasks included researching various services and presenting them using Microsoft packages. • Summarising documents to be presented at meetings. • Through assisting on the launch of the body I gained valuable experience in organisation, timemanagement and multi-tasking.
