I am a young biologist with a curious and dinamic attitude. I have always tried to find answers to the question "Who we are and where we come from", that's why I then chose to specialise in Evolutionary Biology, choosing to develop a master thesis in Molecular Anthropology,This project allowed me to improve my skills in Genetics and Bioinformatics and I would like to continue to train and work in this fields. Probably, having grown up on an island has brought me the curiosity to always know new places and new possibilities. During my university experience, I had the opportunity to stay abroad as an Erasmus student, cooperating with other teams of different nationalities and different cultural and academic backgrounds. Hi! I am a young girl with a highly dynamic and curious nature. I have always tried to find an answer to the question "Who are we and where do we come from", which is why I chose to specialise in Evolutionary Biology, with a dissertation on Molecular Anthropology, focused on the reconstruct the genetic ancestry of different human populations. After the graduation at the University of Bologna in 2020, I started working as a research assistant at the Institute of Biomedical Technologies - CNR (Segrate, MI), working on a project on the pharmacogenomics of opioid drugs in advanced cancer patients. Since October 2022, I am a PhD student in Experimental Medicine at the University of Milan, but still my collaboration with the Institute of Biomedical Technologies continues under the scientific responsibility of Dr Francesca Colombo. In the meantime, I have taken up teaching, mainly to university students, of various disciplines in the biological, statistical and medical fields. Besides my love for Nature and Science, I love dancing, travelling and discovering new and different cultures. Mindful of my previous Erasmus and other experiences abroad, I firmly believe that working in a dynamic and international environment can bring great results both from a professional and human point of view: coming into contact with people and sharing thoughts and passions allows you to improve, always.
