In December 2020 I have been appointed Project Manager for Garigliano, Trino and Caorso Vessel and Internals dismantling My role is transversal to the 3 Italian NPPs currently in decommissioning.I will take care of the development of feasibility projects, of the development of the tender documentation and of the preparation of authorization documents for the dismantling of vessels and internals. The transversal role shall ensure that the documentation developed has a similar approach to the activity and is developed with the same level of detail.For the development and the success of the projects it is essential to analyze the experiences already made in other European countries and the interaction with international partners operating in the sector

The TLP is the reference point of the power plant as regards the engineering activities.The main activities I deal with are:• Dismantling of the Reactor Vessel internals of the Garigliano NPP including the design of a machine for the horizontal cutting, under water, of the control rods.• Restoration of auxiliary systems and dismantling of the systems and components of the thermal cycle installed inside the Turbine Building of the Garigliano plant.• Restoring the auxiliary systems of the Reactor building• Restoration of the flooding circuit of the fuel pool• Dismantling of all the components installed under ground level
