Francesca Papi held an industrial PhD in Life Sciences at University of Siena and GSK Vaccines Company (at Molecular Biology and Bacteriology group). She has completed the PhD with a high grade. She held a B.Sc. in Biotechnology (Curriculum: Biology) and a M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Curriculum: Molecular diagnostics and biotechnology), both obtained at the University of Camerino, Italy, with a special focus on molecular ecology. She has completed both degrees with a high grade and earned an encomium for her Master’s Degree thesis entitled “Ciliates of genus Euplotes as models for studying adaptation, response to stress and cell manipulation”. She has performed an internship at the GSK Vaccines company, in which she worked in the Molecular Biology group.
