Previously, I worked as a producer and presenter at the BBC and as a freelance print journalist. I have alsp written books and founded and edited a magazine about living more sustainably. I work between Bristol and London and more often than not, from my kitchen table!

Freelance Journalist/Writer/Magazine Editor/Tv PresenterBbc May 2002 - PresentI have worked as a freelance journalist, magazine editor and TV presenter for the last 20 years across various programmes and print publications at the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, as well as writing for The Guardian, The Times and for media in New Zealand. These have included health and consumer shows such as Watchdog, Healthcheck and Food and Drink. In New Zealand, I founded a magazine called Good, about living more sustainably, wrote a weekly column for their current affairs magazine, The Listener, and fronted a TV show called Wasted, which sold around the world. I also wrote a book called The Good Life; A Guide to Living a Greener, Cheaper and More Fulfilling Life in New Zealand. -

Founder/Project DirectorWe Feed The World Jun 2015 - Jul 2020London, United KingdomI created and led the We Feed the World campaign - a global communications project which brought together 47 world renowned photographers, 25 NGO’s and 15 + businesses to raise awareness about the critical need for a food system led by small, scale farmers. The first of a series of global exhibitions launched in London at the Southbank’s Bargehouse Galleryin October '18 and was accompanied by ten days of talks, workshops and film as well as a global media campaign, estimated to have reached an audience of 60 million, through articles in the Guardian, Telegraph, Independent, National Geographic and Marie Claire magazine in the UK, China, Taiwan, Holland and Italy - see links below.

I was also in charge of fundraising efforts for their in this area and attended the European Forum for Food Sovereignty in Romania, and later the Global Alliance on the Future of Food Second International Dialogue in Paris and the Second International Symposium on Agroecology at the FAO in Rome. -
