I am able to draw on my consulting experience when implementing OnTarget, using a collaborative approach to ensure that users take ownership of the system. OnTarget calculates robust statistical stock targets for users, enabling them to challenge conceived wisdom and ways of working. The powerful visualisations that the system delivers OnTarget enables users to optimise their stock holding while ensuring they hit service KPIs. Through the training program revised ways of working and best in class approaches can become embedded in an organisation.My largest implementation to date is for a global alcohol company across their North and South American Markets. The implementation involved end to end supply chain review, data management, training, benefits realisation and continual support of the users.

Sequoia’s 4 quadrant approach to supply chain capability covers process, tools, structure and people and during my time at Sequoia I have completed work in all four areas.I believe it is really important to embed supply chain capability within an organisation and its people. I enjoy ensuring that our solution is tailored to each business and team and will continue to deliver long term benefits for our client.Structure - I was part of the team that delivered a Route to market strategy for a FMCG manufacturer. We were optimising the network and analysing the end to end supply chain costs in order to find the optimal network to meet the business’ projected growth plans. In addition, I worked on a national distribution and manufacturing network strategy, challenging the current network design due to changing customer demands. Process – Within the process quadrant I have done everything from a European inventory optimisation diagnostic that identified a 25% reduction in safety stock to forecast analysis and segmentation that lead to portfolio rationalisation. Tools - Our clients had seen a reduction in their safety stock after an OnTarget implementation and started to look at further ways to optimise their stock. In order to identify where savings could be made, I created an EOQ optimisation tool to support further optimisation of cycle stock. This was used to inform the design of a web enabled EOQ tool, which has been deemed ‘best in class’ by the client. People – Through multiple OnTarget implementations I have had the opportunity to train people in stock theory and the use of OnTarget. Covering implementations in Europe, North and South America, I have had to ensure that the training and knowledge is transferred across different cultures and languages.
