My name is Francesca Taylor, I am a third year student in the College of Business at Ohio University. I am double majoring in Marketing, and Strategic Leadership and Management. At the university I am an active member in Ohio Women In Business. OWIB is an organization of 100+ business women who continuously challenge me to grow professionally and personally in the world of business. I am seeking to pursue a career within these fields of work and to grow my network. I have experience within the workforce, and being involved with nonprofit organizations as being the lead volunteer. In the summer of 2023, I completed my internship with Feed Your Neighbors, a non-profit organization that works to provide food and clothing to those in need. During my internship, I was the social media manager and ran public relations. I collected and recorded two batches of donated clothing and non-perishable food items, led discussions with the team on the organizations capabilities and community needs, maintained and grew the organizations network. At the end of the summer the organization was nominated for Best Community Partner by Ohio Resturant Association, and later received the reward in December of 2023!

  This past summer I had the privilege of having an internship at Feed Your Neighbors. Feed Your Neighbors is a nonprofit organization that helps to feed and clothe the less fortunate. My main responsibilities as an intern were Event and Social Media Manager. I had a focus on network growth, community outreach, supplier relations, record keeping, event planning and social media management. Interning with Feed Your Neighbors has been a rewarding and impactful experience. I have grown as both an individual and professional in several areas throughout my experience. I learned to capitalize on many skills, some of which include teamwork, communication skills, leadership and organizational skills. Through the summer, Feed Your Neighbors, along with its partner Totally Baked Pizza, was nominated by the Ohio Restaurant Association to receive the award of Best Community Partner. In September, the voting closed and Feed Your Neighbors was granted the award!
