Senior Consultant in WSP's Sustainability and Climate Change Team. Providing technical planning application and design support, through the production of waste management strategies for a wide variety of developments, both internationally and in the UK. Part of WSP’s Circular Economy Taskforce, working on numerous projects focusing on waste management and sustainable resource management, assisting clients to become resource-efficient through circular design in the built environment. Advising clients on how to move towards a more circular business through setting Zero Waste targets, to help them achieve their sustainability targets. This has involved assessing clients baseline condition for both operational and construction waste and establishing opportunities for improvement.

Consultant within the Sustainability and Climate Change Team at WSP. Working on project both in the UK and internationally, carrying out reviews of local waste policy and legislation, as well as generating waste models for complex schemes. Providing advice on the likely levels and types of waste being generated at a development; the storage space and equipment requirements; the location and design of the waste storage areas and collection points.Working closely with the WSP Sustainability team providing clients with advice on the circular economy, eliminating single use plastics and design for material efficiency/ deconstruction. Francesca has carried out 'Designing out waste' workshops with design teams and contractors to help clients achieve Material Efficiency (Mat 06) credit for BREEAM.

Graduate Consultant within the Waste & Resource Management team at WSP. Gaining experience with Waste Management Strategies and Waste ES Chapters, providing reviews of local waste policies and legislation as well as generating waste models for a number of clients.

Assisting with bat and newt surveys throughout the north east of England.Relevant Skills• Great crested newt surveys including pitfall trapping, bottle trapping and torching.• Bat surveys including vantage point and transects.• Identification of newt and bat species.
