A versatile and adaptable all-rounder, I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work across a range of contexts throughout my career, specialising for over ten years in the management of examinations, information governance and digital transformation. Well-practised project management skills allow me to support organisations to manage ongoing work-streams, and to complete time-limited projects on time, to scope and within budget. An eye for detail, complemented by my appreciation of the big picture – as well as a calm and methodical approach – set me in good stead to address challenges posed by new situations, targets and timescales, and I manage competing demands of a heavy workload efficiently, but without compromising accuracy or effectiveness. Critical thought and an enquiring mind allow me to apply informed and insightful analysis to data, so that organisational decision-making can be evidence-based and effective. At a personal level, I consider myself to be positive and pragmatic manager, who uses a natural understanding of others in order to make grow trust and unify joint efforts across functional and jurisdictional boundaries. I place a high value on working collaboratively with colleagues, senior staff, end-users and external stakeholders in order to achieve shared objectives.
