I worked 4 years as Project manager within the Translational Neuroscience (TN) group at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine of the University of Luxembourg. In this position, I managed both national and international projects. Main tasks included liaising with groups of researchers in Luxembourg as well as international experts in the biomedicine field coordinating competitive research grants. I supportted the application processes and reporting tasks of the research projects funded by the FNR as well as other funding bodies (EC, MJFF, IMI2). I prepared and monitored the budgets of the group. Exchanging with diverse teams in different organizations, and solving disparate problematics within the Biomedicine field, strengthened my skills in prioritization and flexibility.

• Contributor on drafting policy papers, policy recommendations, briefings and EU calls under FP7 and H2020 research programmes.• Responsible for the evaluation award processes of Research and Innovation proposals (80-150 proposals) under FP7 and H2020 programmes. Selecting and managing groups of international experts. Reporting results to hierarchy and consortia. • Developer of awareness raising initiatives on EU policies and programmes for internal and external stakeholders through workshops, conferences and social media platforms (drafting conference agendas and programmes, selecting and inviting speakers, liaising with other units and directorates of the EC; promoting events on twitter, LinkedIn and EC websites). • Supervising the overall technical and administrative performances of EU research projects in ICT field (10 projects per year: 30€M) and promoting their achievements.

• Responsible and contributor to quantitative and qualitative analysis and policy recommendations on different projects for the EU Institution:• Management of private and public funded projects, from original concept through to final implementation: keeping budget baseline and deadlines, while achieving quality criteria and client satisfaction.• Responsible for internal and external reporting and with all project stakeholders.• Support to pre-sales and sales teams to adequately scope and cost solutions for call for proposals awarded by EU Institutions and private companies. • Promoting the services and products of the company to clients and strategic partners. • Single Point of Contract of one of the largest international technology transfer network between industry, research and public (more than 40 countries worldwide and 70 consortia, more than 1000 experts; currently Enterprise Europe Network http://een.ec.europa.eu/). • Delivering trainings on technology transfer for the different expert profiles of the network (including fact finding missions in 7 European Research Agencies).

• Identification of policy recommendations for policy-makers to support the advanced e-business Society paradigms and concepts (LEGAL-IST project).• Design of the theoretical and operational methodology for dynamic and sustainable networked organizations within FP6 EU funded Ecolead project (www.ecolead.vtt.fi). • Analysis of the potential impacts of EU policies on networked organisations, and identification of policy actions foster their development. • Promotion and networking events on project’s achievements. • Drafting reports collecting inputs from large, geographically dispersed groups (more than 30 inputs).

• Assistant to the Director of the Communication & Innovation Center (www.coinor.unina.it) in charge of supporting the researchers of the University to promote their research results (Engineering, IT and Medicine) and projects to internal and external stakeholders. • Responsible of organizing and delivering workshops at different research centers in the Campania Region in order to promote the activities and processes of the consortium Bridge€conomies (http://www.bridgeconomies.eu) part of the European Enterprise Network (EEN).• Support to University’s researchers to identify and select targeted events for the promotion of their results. I provided them all the necessary support (including production and editing of printed material) and attended events when needed. I was responsible for developing and monitor the action put in place by the TTO (Technology Transfer Office) in order to foster innovation and internationalisation within the faculties of the Federico II University. I supervised and coordinated the visits to University departments as well to some SMEs (linked to University) in order to monitor the impact of the actions put in place by the University and collect the technology needs and offers. I organized training on innovation policies for the staff of the University. I co-organised brokerage events: developing the proper information and communication material, disseminating information to client, taking care of clients’ inscription and participation. I developed technology watches within my region (Campania – Italy) collaborating with the Start-up office of the Regional Authority. I was the co-founder of a working group of all the regional actors (regional authority, chambers of commerce, BIC, development agencies, universities, incubators, etc.) involved in supporting the competitiveness, development and innovation in the Campania region.

I was in charge of the ICT projects of the company. My main tasks: planning and monitoring the development of the ICT projects; defining client and/or direction area reports; supporting the commercial structure in realizing and proposing activities; super visioning all call center activities. As part of the managing group, I develop strategic plans for the maintenance and the increase of the position of the company on the market.

• Process analyst on complex projects within main Italian banks (BNL, RasBank) for the digital reengineering of internal and external processes, trough the modernization of the internal data warehouse. Main projects: Rightsizing and Mobility Management (BNL), Commercial Planning and Monitoring (BNL), Support to the efficiency of the Force Sale (RAS-BANK).Banking:Rightsizing and Mobility Management. Theoretical dimensioning of the structure of net of the Bank and activation of a structured process of mobility management. Banking: Commercial Planning and Monitoring. Develop of an informative system to support the process of Commercial Planning and Monitoring My main tasks: analysis of customer requirements, software customization (Hyperion Planning) and planning of the reports. Realization of the User Guide, with process orientation, for the bank Intranet.Assurance: CRM - Support to the efficiency of the Force Sale. Implementation of the software platform (Siebel) to support the Force Sale in customer management activities. My tasks: analysis of the processes of the Force Sale, realization of the material for the training courser and of the User Guide.

I received a grant in the frame of the Esprit Project Compete (COMmon Platform for ExTended Enterprise), sponsored by the European Community. I was responsible to coordinate the research work on genetic algorithm between the University of Leon and the FIAT Research Center.
