Client facing Program Manager assigned to Southern Europe Region, I am accountable to lead international global deliveries for Vodafone Global Enterprise customers, being responsible for end-to-end program management coordination across client, work-streams, sales, account and service management teams – to assure the commercial transition, deliver the anticipated level of customer benefits and fulfil the agreed statement of work in the customer contract. Within Vodafone Global Enterprise – Global Enterprise Delivery Team, I am responsible for leading client-facing global delivery programs and multi-country projects for enterprise customers, aimed to deliver innovative new products. I ensure these programs are professionally structured, planned, coordinated and communicated, keeping client stakeholders regularly informed of progress, issues and risks and ensuring commitments are consistently met. Reporting to the Head of Business Unit, in charge of introducing new products (mobile back-hauling systems) within corporate portfolio, managing all associated activities, from marketing brief, up to release into production and market launch. Remit focusing on:- Program Management: definition and control of planning, costs and quality | monitoring and reporting on progress and gate passing | budget estimation, allocation and monitoring | professional risk management | quality control (design compliance to product requirements and corporate quality guidelines: Design for Environment, Design for Serviceability, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Security)- Program Team Management: leadership of a multi-discipline team, consisting of personnel from Product Management, Quality, Operations, Customer Documentation, Technical Product Support, Services and Sales/Marketing- R&D Technical Coordination: scheduling, monitoring and reporting of design activities, addressing system architecture, software and hardware development, RF design, mechanical design, testing, system verification and product qualification (compliance to CE, UE and NEBS standard)- Supply Chain Start up: definition of BOMs (Bill of Material), planning of prototypes and production assistance in the factory, design review for manufacturing feasibility, pre-series testing, release into production (final sampling, pilot run and release production in factory)- Pre-Sales Support: customer demonstrations and supply of prototypes to key accounts prior to official production, product price definition for strategic tenders

Reporting to the Head of R&D, leading a multi-site team of R&D designers based in Milan/Italy and in Shanghai/China, in charge of all software development and definition of software strategy for the entire Business Unit. Remit focusing on:* R&D Technical Area Coordination and Innovation Support: planning, scheduling and execution of Software Projects – including design, development, testing, integration, release and maintenance of Firmware, embedded Software, Device Drivers and Application Software for RF Modules, Outdoor and Indoor Microwave Units | feasibility studies, patents* Resource Management: effort estimation, identification and assignment of technical profiles to projects (resource planning and allocation), appointment of SW project leaders* People Management: people engagement, team building and competence developing | definition of team short time planning, individual target setting and personal development plan for team members |key-people retention, people reward and recognition practices * 3rd Parties Management: partnership with key-suppliers for Software activities, including SOW (Scope of Work) set-up, review and approval * Budget Planning: definition of assets needed by the team, supervision of team costs (OPEX and CAPEX Planning, Monitoring and Reporting)

Coordinating a team, assigned with a global role within the company, in charge of the Center of Competence for aTCA and IPMI Standards, driving and implementing the associated technology across company projects and products, through definition of Hardware and Software Architecture and associated Software Development and Testing (Firmware, embedded Software and Applications Development for Mobile Telecommunications Platforms).
