Working on the Work and Health Programme under the Reed in Partnership contract. Assisting participants with Health Barriers and Disabilities to secure employment in their chosen career through empowering them to build confidence, improve skills and develop strengths and resilience through motivation, encouragement and training. Developing partnerships with local employers to develop commercial placements to benefit both businesses and participants, and increasing Disability Confidence.

Building positive relationships between decision-makers in local businesses, to develop referral networks and opportunities to partner, The Business Network has a proven track record of success in networking across the country, spanning 20 years, with a unique format.We launched in Lincoln in September, and discovered a vibrant and enthusiastic membership, who straight away started to develop fantastic working relationships and develop partnerships. We continue to grow rapidly and it is clear that the format is successful and valued by members, and benefits them both personally and in terms of productivity. Enabling communication with the Voluntary and Community Sector in North Lincolnshire, supporting the vibrant and diverse VCS to make a positive difference to living and working in the area.

Attracting senior decision-makers to the monthly, lunchtime events, the unique, professional and business focused format offers an effective environment for building close working links and establishing that invaluable 'support network' of business contacts.The Hull Network is a vibrant and dynamic group who are proud to be living and working in and around Hull. An incredible service provided by dedicated therapists, unique to the local area, in which those with a diagnosis of cancer and their primary carer can be supported along their journey, through be-friending, counselling and complementary therapy.

8 months as Volunteer Coordinator, developing new volunteer management processes, and continued for a further two years to train on Safeguarding. A wonderful Hospice.

An amazing 3 year project which developed and grew opportunties for yound people and adults in a structured and safe environment. Focussed on the Centenary of this youth organisation in 2007, the numbers of both adults and young people grew during this project and many more young people were given the chance to self-develop through this time.

Developed the original training, mentoring and campaigning strategy to encourage and support women through the process to become MPs. Achieved target of 40% of women candidates in target seats at 2005 election.
