Developed and carried out a research on how community foundations across Europe are embracing the SDGs, particularly investigating whether they implemented the whole-of-organization approach, developed by ECFI. The focus of the analysis is to understand the opportunities and challenges that community foundations encounter in embracing the SDGs at the local and national level, and highlight study cases from different countries on how these organizations have done it so far (e.g. how they leveraged the 2030 Agenda in their communications strategy, endowment management, strategies and programs, mission and operations). Furthermore, it also outlines the role that community foundation support organizations can play in supporting community foundations in this journey. it includes also useful concrete tips from practitioners across Europe.Project management: setting the methodology and drafting questionnaires, tailored based on each country needs and characteristics, carrying out data analysis and interviews to get additional qualitative information, drafted the report with recommendations and reported on meaningful study cases.Plus, developed a new report that outlines the role of 4 community foundations (Foundation Scotland, Fondazione di Comunità di Messina, Hamburg Bürgerstiftung, and Dobry Gorod Saint Petersburg) in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level, that was used as engagement tool at COP26 in Glasgow.
