Project titled "Modular Solid Cryogenic Heat Storage and Heat Exchanger Units" funded by an SBIR grant from the Navy Sea Systems Command. Work included initial research of cryogenic properties, material analysis, and system design as well as experimental lab manufacture and testing of heat storage/exchanger samples. Work in assembling the cold mass of superconducting magnets designed and manufactured at SSI to be used in preclinical MRI diagnostics.Mechanical Engineer for a project titled "Thermal Measurements of a Simulated Copper Winding" funded by Tri Alpha Energy. Work included solidworks modeling of sample and experimental set up, manufacture of the sample, experimental set up, DAQ system operation that will record data from 17 thermocouples embedded in the system, and the processing of results. General machine shop work.

Paper submitted for publishing with Dr. Jeffrey S. Marshall.

Studied under Dr. Soren Prestemon on a project "Characterization of high-temperature superconducting undulator components". Wrote a research paper for the DOE and co-authored an article with Dr. Presetemon that was published in the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity.
