I'm in charge of a unit within the Technical Planning group of the Enel Grids Network Development business line. Our goal is to assess the Totex planning of Enel's DSOs focusing on technical and economical optimal allocation and to monitor the proper execution.

I cooperate with Global Infrustructure and Network, the Enel Gruoup Company, which aims to ensure a quality, accessible and reliable service through an efficient and digitized electricity network.I'm with the Network Developement unit which evalutates Distribution Systems Operators and Netwoerks performaneces over 8 countries (Italy,Spain,Romania,Argentina,Brasil,Chile,Colombia,Perù) and defines strategies and developement plans.

e-distribuzione is the Enel Group company which manage the electrical power distribution in Italy.I am with the North-West unit (Piemonte-Liguria). I have worked in network operational function (with the network analysis and maintenance unit) and the network development group which designs and builds the new network infrastructures. From January 2019 to Semptember 2021 I was in charge of the Savona operational unit. Where I coordinated a group of 30 people, including technicians and operationals, to manage the MV/LV electricity networks that feed about 140,000 end customers.

Research activities are:- development and implementation of DMS (Distribution Management System) to control and operate the modern distribution networks increasing reliability and efficiency and to face the incrementing presence of Distributed Energy Resources (such as renewable/conventional generators, energy storage system and controllable loads) moving toward future smart grids;- Demand Response and Intelligent Load Management programs for Low Voltage aggregated customers- Energy Storage system modelling and integrated management together with intermittent resources as renewables- High Voltage transmission networks analysis focused on Net Transfer Capacity (NTC) calculationAdditional activities are drafting and presentation of scientific pubblications to conferences and trade magazines, tutoring and editing of thesis (for both bachelor and master degrees). Moreover, multiple international experiences are achieved as attendance to international conferences and courses at abroad universities (Europe and USA) and abroad periods for research activities (Europe and USA).

Four months internship at ABB Corporate Research Center in Raleigh, NC United States of America.The activity focused on the Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and on the role of the customer in the active networks through Demand Response (DR) programs adopting the OpenADR standard.
