Department of Maritime Infrastructure Management. Work in the Technical Division for the management of the Research Vessel Laura Bassi. The office is in charge of the management and development of the vessel. The main tasks are to keep the scientific equipment maintained, to look for improvements for the vessel and for the instrumentations and to implement such modifications, supervising the contractors from the development of the design to the works onboard. During the scientific campaigns, I work to assist the scientists onboard, supervising the deployment of the scientific equipment, such as coring samplers, CTDs and nets and collecting data.

Ph.D student at department of Mechanics and Maritime Science, division of Marine Technology. The research project aims at the prediction of ship motions and added resistance for a generic oblique sea state, using and developing an existing unsteady fully nonlinear 3D potential flow method.
