Francesco Daniel Donati was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1982. He graduated with honors in 2008 in Law at the University of Pavia. After graduation he carried out, for a few years, the activity of legal consultant at a notary studio, in addition to organizing cultural and musical events. Discovering an ever stronger passion for this activity, in 2013 he attended the Master in Management of Performing Arts (MASP) at Bocconi University, in collaboration with Accademia della Scala and the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, permanently devoting himself to promoting cultural and musical events. After the Master's degree, he worked at the Opéra National de Paris.In 2009 he founded Association Bottesini, with the intent of promoting Italian opera and classical music heritage. Since then he has directed the Association with passion. In 2015 he founded CLIP - Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino (Portofino International Opera Singing Competition). In 2017 he brought back to life the historic Bottesini Competition for double bass players. In 2018 he organized the Crema Film Festival. In 2023 he founded with Andre Cigni the Cavalli Monteverdi Competition, a singing contest dedicated to baroque music. Francesco Daniel Donati speaks fluently Italian, English, French and spanish. He also speaks basic german.
