Reporting to the Head of Projects, I lead a project aimed at consolidating the production activities of stainless steel sinks at the Peschiera del Garda site.The investment of approximately 80 million euros in technology, automation, digitalization, and sustainability underscores the ambition and importance of this project for Franke Home Solutions.My role involves coordinating a cross-functional team to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of operations. I actively collaborate with international teams and suppliers to implement best practices and maximize production efficiency.This initiative not only positions the Peschiera del Garda site as a center of excellence and central production hub for stainless steel sinks in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East but also promotes employee training and development to meet the requirements of a European competence center.The project represents a significant commitment to efficient, sustainable, and competitive long-term production, consolidating Franke's leadership in the stainless steel sink market.In 2023, I initiated a new project to optimize the operations of a joint venture with Franke. The activity involves transferring all operations, currently distributed across various sites, to a new facility. I am focused on overcoming complex challenges through strategic management and a multidisciplinary approach.

Has prevented and managed escalation processes with customers in case of complaints.

Efficiently manages the production activities in the Plant to achieve performance objectives, in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.Supervises production, ensuring the implementation of manufacturing programs. Intervenes in the solution of everyday problems by activating relevant support services. Check the implementation of maintenance plans. Ensures the implementation of activities for the development of new products. Ensures that WIP and finished goods’ stock is kept to the minimum level. Check production costs and productivity and quality levels. Coordinates the implementation of improvement plans. Organizes Kaizen, 5S, TPM programs. Ensures the optimal management and development of personnel, balancing resources according to their skills and the priorities of the Plant. Monitors compliance with the Quality, Environment and Energy management system and the correct application of the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Guarantees the application of safety standards and the related training/information of the staff. In the event of quality issues on the lines, he coordinates all the countermeasures aimed at their quicker resolution, up to stop of production.Manages a team of 250 people having as direct reports the shift leaders and the 5S / TPM coordinatorThe reorganization, based on the principles of Growth XP projects, brought benefits of over € 10m of annualized operating profit & € 20m of working capital reduction.

Agrees and implement the strategies for implementing changes to the process, procedures and organization.Monitors the progress of project KPIs (in particular OEE) and sets up corrective actions.He is the change agent to overcome resistance to change at all levels of the organization.He manages a multidisciplinary team of 10 people.The fundamental objective of the project was: a “step change” in the profitability of the San Salvo site through an improvement in manufacturing performances & reduction of working capital by 25%.Tools for achieving it were a rigorous application of the "Basics": Change of the plant structure, Performance Management, SIC (Short Interval Control), 5S, TPM, SMED, Kaizen, WoCaToCa (Working Capital To Capital).
