My most valuable possession is my toolkit. Throughout my academic journey, I collected and learned how to use a wide range of theoretical tools. This led me to become a fixer, an expert technician who not only understands complex problems but also builds and repairs the bridges between them. The need to solve intricate issues always drives me to produce stacks of handwritten pages filled with logical derivations and innovative models, fueled by my constant desire to puzzle out well-established yet incomplete theories.As a linguist with expertise in both natural and formal languages, I am profoundly interested in Logic, Mathematics, and Linguistics (Syntax and Semantics). In my Master’s thesis, I developed a typed system based on the arbitrariness of signs and meanings into intensionalized lambda calculus to address the phenomenon of incomprehension in natural languages. The model describes words and propositions as always-true inclusive disjunctions, namely superpositions of different intensions. After being processed and selected by speakers, meanings are compared through an equality function, which outputs comprehension when they are equal and incomprehension otherwise. My research is supported by neuroscientific evidence from EEG and fMRI studies, particularly on neural alignment.I am seeking opportunities to contribute to innovative linguistic research and applications, leveraging my strong analytical skills and interdisciplinary approach.
