designed MMIC and RFIC for mobile backhaul and optical driver applications, both in GaAs and BiCMOS, in different frequency bands from 13 GHz up to 175 GHz. related laboratory verification for debugging and industrialization.Most significant results: • Delivered one of the first prototypes for telecom applications of a FEM TRX in Dband following the coordination of a collaboration program with unipv and subsequent integration and engineering. • Designed of a GaAs linear power amplifier in Dband to explore the gain and power capabilities of the process adopted, using models for active devices internally developed. • Internal development of the first oRFIC in SiGe introduced in production, that has allowed to avoid the recourse to the external purchase, guaranteeing a remarkable saving and an advantage on the competitors. • Realization of a pioneering MMIC prototype using SiP technology for 5G applications, presented in Barcelona in 2016, which gave great visibility to the Milan site and allowed to attract several future developments. • Introduced the internal development of MMIC able to compete with products purchased from external suppliers, thanks to which it was possible to induce the same suppliers to lower costs and thus increase internal profit margins.

• Contributed to the introduction of multifunctional MMIC by reducing equipment costs and increasing the manufacturing yield by following statistical design approaches.• Engineered a family of MMIC for backhaul applications.

Design and troubleshooting of RX-TX Microwave boards for P2P radio up to 26 GHz, adopting MCM and SiP technologies for RF line – up.Most significant results: • Redesigned of microwave boards for obsolescence of different parts constituting the line - up RF. • Supported at the production facility in troubleshooting production test yield issues.
