I am Francesco Maffettone, I had the master’s degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture at the University of Studies of Trieste. After the graduation I spent six months in a shipyard abroad specialized in reparation and refitting. Than I moved in a company, Dalisi-ENG, where I worked as Project Engineer in a technical office. There I took care of pipe, HVAC and cable System 3D design and routing. During my studies, my previous and my actual Job I have understood my interest and my versatility in the different fields both in a theoretical and practical way. In fact, I received both compliments working on board in shipyard and as part of the technical office. In May 2023 I decided to change job, leaving the detail engineering to move towards the conceptual/basic and functional engineering, in the main branches of naval architecture and marine engineer: FEM structure analysis, stability assessment, IMO and Class rules compliance, alternative fuel energy system design and power prediction, ecc.
