My experience in dealing with the public, whether on a face-to-face basis or over the telephone and emails, is comprehensive and varied - and this includes the general public as well as premium customers and colleagues.I have lived in different countries and traveled extensively. I was born in Zurich and brought up between Milan and Zurich. I lived in London for two years, in Dubai for four, and I have lived in Manchester for the past nineteen years.Traveling has always played an important role in my life, whether it was work related or for pleasure: exploring new places and cultures has allowed me to grow, on both, a professional as well as a personal level.These life and career choices had me involved living and working in a mixed cultures environment with colleagues and customers from every walks of life, which has also increased my versatility.Alongside my career, I have also been a registered foster carer with Bolton Shared Care, Greater Manchester. This work involved supporting children between the ages of 0-16 years, emotionally, physically, mentally, socially and educationally. Some of these children had disabilities, both physical and learning and some also displayed challenging behavior. As part of their support package I (along with my partner at the time) invited them into our home to stay for short periods, in order to provide them with a stable and caring environment. This work involved intensive support, which was demanding mentally and physically for both myself and my partner. It was a very rewarding experience which allowed me to enhance my skills and from a personal growth perspective, was extremely fulfilling.
