Hi, my name is Francesco and I was born in the Venice in 1984. After a five-years degree in Architecture at the IUAV in Venice, I moved to Bologna to work as a graphic designer first at the Miguel Sal & Co communication agency and then at Viabizzuno, a lighting design company that operates at international level. During these five years I have been achieving a strong experience in publishing and web graphic design, from the concept to the creation of corporate communication materials. In addition, I achieved the necessary skills to follow the whole design process, starting from the creative activities to the final printing, both digital and letterpress, of the communication materials. Here is some examples of the projects I managed: brand design, invitations for events, annual agenda, newsletters, company gadgets, presentations and product brochures, catalogues and communications materials for fairs and events, product packaging design, UI/UX design for multimedia platforms, web design.After the experience in Viabizzuno, I started working as a freelance designer collaborating with important companies in the publishing industry, such as Mondadori Electa and Zanichelli Editore, and a communication agency, such as Up Studio in Pesaro. At the same time I carried two university lectures in visual design context at the University of Bologna and at the IAAD of Bologna. The lessons were focusing on communication design and the use of Adobe softwares.In addition, I have been working for 10 years as freelance architecture photographer and I have had this role also during Viabizzuno experience. I have developed good abilities in photography, both in studio and fieldwork, both architectural and photo-reportage, achieved through collaborations and seminars with professionals. I also deal with post-production and photo-editing of raster images and vectorial drawings.Thanks to my educational and professional path, I achieved a strong 10 years experience in figurative arts, in particular graphic design, photography and architecture, and learnt to use them for designing. The experience inside the communication agency contributed to rise the interest and the skills regarding graphic design and figurative arts, and their cohesion in communication projects.Regards, Francesco.
