I was involved with an IBM development team working on a project for a major Italian bank.The project focused on renewal for a critical application used to manage national asset and bond auctions for a major financial institution, with potential applications for international entities.As part of the modernization, the application was restructured to a microservices-based architecture, enhancing its robustness, scalability, and alignment with the latest technological standards required by the bank.The application encompasses various functionalities, including:- Entity Management: Handling dealers, loans, flows, and extra shares.- Auction Calendar Management: Scheduling and monitoring auctions.- Auction Operations: Issuance, purchasing, bidding, conversion, and combined operations.- Monitoring: Real-time control and management of auctions.- Communication: Coordination between different client portals for different institutions.I engaged in full-stack development, covering front-end, back-end, and some light database tasks. This included creating new components, APIs , and tables, as well as integrating new logic into existing components.

I worked on a project for a national authority for digital development and IT governance in Italy.I designed and developed a dockerized NestJS microservice for managing the regulatory preservation of predetermined documents, which are sent to various external certified providers.The microservice operates autonomously, featuring parallel scheduled processes that run independently to manage the lifecycle of database entities tracking document statuses. The system is designed to be flexible and generic, capable of handling multiple external providers and various services/actions to ensure maximum versatility.A structured and multi-level logging system was implemented, with log files set up for external monitoring systems to detect unexpected errors.Development also included over 200 unit tests covering the entire codebase, ensuring a high level of software quality and reliability.Additionally, some APIs were exposed for monitoring purposes.

Maintenance and enhancement/bug-fixing development of a microservices-based application (NodeJS - Loopback - VueJS Nuxt) for the Italian government.The application supports national museum management at state, regional, and individual structure levels, providing various functionalities ranging from creating custom websites for museums (no code needed) to managing state-level museum evaluation processes.I worked as a full-stack developer, responsible for analyzing and designing new features, as well as handling bug fixes.

I've been part of an IBM team dedicated to maintaining and developing new features for a microservices-based web application for a leading European natural gas infrastructure company.This application manages various types of documents and contracts, which are analyzed by external AI IBM services like NLP and OCR.The core back-end application was developed to handle multiple documents in parallel using multi-threading.I managed to work as a full stack developer, contributing to both the front-end and back-end development, including database work when necessary. My responsibilities included bug-fixing, designing and developing new features, and making significant structural back-end changes.

I've been part of an IBM (Milano) team for developing an MVP product for an Italian Aerospace district. After a Design Thinking and a deep technical analysis a Blockchain system was designed and developed. Blockchain based on Hyperledger Fabric and composed by three different organizations (nodes - using the 'Star' Architecture). Design and Development of the Chaincode was carried out too.

I've been part of an IBM (Milano) Team for a cleaning and streamlining of an inefficient Blockchain application (not ready for a production environment) provided to us by a third-party Supplier (banking sector).Following the Agile software development methodology, a reengineering of the backend system used for the solution was carried out, introducing an Microservices Architecture (asynchronous using MQ queues that can exchange messages with underlying Blockchain).Rewriting of the blockchain chaincode was made too.
