Francesco Salamone is a researcher at ITC-CNR since 2011. His core competences include the definition, development and validation of data analysis tools and methods based on ‘white-box’ and ‘black-box’ models for the assessment of the quality of the built environment.In his current research at the ITC-CNR, Francesco employs a multidisciplinary approach that combines the development of customised technological solutions for environmental monitoring, the definition of methodological frameworks for the holistic assessment of well-being - which also takes into account physiological parameters and user feedback - and data analysis (also through Machine Learning). His passion for innovation drives him to constantly explore new solutions, merging engineering and data analysis to create more sustainable and human-centred environments.In summary, Francesco Salamone is a dynamic researcher who contributes to improving the quality of life through the application of advanced technologies to the built environment.
