Thesis topicEvaluation of driver models for left-turn-across path maneuversThesis workThe goal of the thesis is to develop and document an understanding of driver models for left-turn-across path scenarios including vehicle interactions, ergo vehicle dynamics and driver in the loop. Data from test track experiments and naturalistic driving data have been provided and analysed. The work included calibration and tool development for being able to apply this in a large fleet of vehicles. The project is a co-operation among SAFER, Chalmers, Volvo Cars and Autoliv.
