I have over 25 years of experience in digital archiving for the editorial and multimedia industry, working both as a service provider and as consultant.I have managed the first italian project to digitalize the entire collection of historical edition for one of the major national newspaper, from 1867 untill now. The project was quite a challenge, since consisted of about 1.800.000 newspaper pages, over 54.000 daily editions, with full OCR and segmentation of millions of news items to be displayed in an online search engine.You can reach it at www.archiviolastampa.itI actually carry on with my digital asset management experience in new projects (www.voguearchive.it) and live my passion for bicycle riding working for some bike industry company as digital and social media communication and marketing expert.I develop some steel frames with a couple of friends with Fresco Cycles, because you must ride something good.
