I’m a creative director specializing in Extended Reality (XR) technologies.I oversee education in spatial computing, game design, and gamification at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy. Since joining in 2016 through a competitive selection process for industry professionals, I’ve been involved in crucial roles such as curriculum design for visual design and user experience, teaching, classroom management, tutoring, mentoring, and supervising participants within the CBL training project. Throughout my eight-year tenure at the Apple Developer Academy, I’ve been fortunate to contribute significantly to our flagship program’s global success. One milestone of which I’m particularly proud is our team’s creation and authorship of the first original pedagogy curriculum for Game Design. This curriculum, which takes a unique and holistic approach to game development, integrates gameplay testing, art direction, and narrative storytelling to create captivating and memorable gaming experiences. It was a collaborative effort, and I’m humbled to have shaped educational resources for aspiring developers; I also represent these innovative educational approaches in various forums, including events, talks, conventions, and publications.I am committed to social exchange and territorial impact, so I also contribute to these efforts by teaching Visual Design as an adjunct professor at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. This role allows me to engage with the Laurea in Design per la Comunità academic trail, which is designed with a strong focus on community-oriented design.As a lifelong learner, I continually seek new ways to grow and contribute.
