The team develops easyJet’s positions on public policy and airport regulation, ensuring to support the company's wider strategic objectives, including sustainability and cost efficiency. I am engaged in many cross-functional collaborations (procurement, finance, markets, legal), continuous vertical exposure at senior executive and board level and close working relationships with external stakeholders (suppliers, regulators, the European Commission and the governments representatives, industry's associations).• I am accountable for providing support for promoting the optimal structure of charges at airports across Europe and am directly responsible for the Portuguese, Dutch, Italian and Spanish markets. • I am also directly responsible for air navigation charges across Europe and leading on lobbying activities around air navigation services.Among my duties:- I analyse charges proposals, airports/ANSPs' financial data, investment plans and cost of capital, working on financial models of regulated airports to develop the negotiation strategy. - I provide support for airports/ANSPs' charges consultation meetings, for preparing positions/lobbying plans and for drafting responses to regulatory consultations. - I maintain key airports/ANSPs' cost databases and benchmarking data. - I am also assessing government policy and national and European regulatory frameworks and the implications for airport/air navigation charges. - I provide support for meetings and hearings with regulators and government on policy developments which affect airport/air navigation charges.- I provide support in competition economics matters, such as market power assessmentsThe team and I have been able to deliver significant cost savings for the business while enhancing and protecting its commercial strategy, its competitive position and its sustainability ambitions.• I am also part of the Social Committee, organizing social and networking events.
