My main scientific interests are the analysis of genome variability, comparative genomics and phylogeny. I've been involved in SNPs analysis and sequencing for some period of time and I would like to continue exploring this field. I've always been interested in technology and for that I've always programmed my own scripts and designed my own pipe- lines to analyze data.Specialties: Analysis of mitochondrial sequences using standard bioinformatic programs/websites and self-made tools in for the construction of variability tables (used in further analyses like haplogroups prediction), phylogenetic trees, pattern search (automated sequences recognition)
