Postdoctoral research assistant on MURAB (Horizon2020:688188) working on simulations to predict deformations of the breast as a consequence of gravity force and external forces (e.g. ultrasound probe) for pre-operative and intra-operative planning.Development of a MATLAB based framework for the automatic identification of the best parameter to be used to simulate the breast tissue in such software. Validation of the framework by comparing synthetic models (generated with FEM) to reference ones (generate from CT scan). Additional validation by comparing synthetic-generated models (generated with FEM) to reference ones (generate from US acquisition) during the change from prone to supine position.
