◈ Graduated in engineering and in economics, and with a solid humanistic background, I started out in the industrial sector as a sales technician and project developer at the main Italian groups leader in the mechanical and infrastructure fields. Since 2005 I specialized in the sustainable energy generation sector, operating at the head of international companies engaged in the development, investment, construction and management of renewable energy production plants throughout Europe. Since 2010 I have started investing in startups, both as a business angel and as an entrepreneur, specializing in scale up projects and writing some of the most interesting exit stories of recent years.◈ In 2015 I launched CleanBnB, the short-term rental startup, which in a few years has developed its activities in over 100 locations and, with almost 3000 properties managed at the end of 2024, has become the main Italian property manager. After an acceleration period in SeedMoney, the startup faced six rounds of capital increase, including two record-breaking equity crowdfunding campaigns, until the listing on the Italian Stock Exchange on EGM. Today CleanBnB is one of the most interesting success stories in the world of scale up in Italy.◈ As a Business Angel, I have been a member of the main associations (such as IAG) and co-founder of investment vehicles in startups (such as Seed Money, of which I am President). I support new initiatives through early-stage financing, and I deal with coaching entrepreneurs in the start-up phase of their activities and advisory in the scale up phase until the exit.◈ Among the other most innovative initiatives that I have launched in the recent past:✓ GasGas (electric mobility), which in just three years has become the Italian leader in the electric charging station sector, developing its own network with hundreds of columns throughout Italy;✓ NFE (cleantech), a European leader in the design sector, in the development of projects and technologies and in the management of renewable energy resources such as solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectric.✓ Cashaa (fintech), which has developed a Forex platform based on Blockchain, capable of offering innovative money transfer services between current currencies and cryptocurrencies.
