As a social impact consultant at Another Axis, I draw upon my experience as a fundraiser, community manager and communications professional to empower our clients to maximize impact for the communities that they serve. I was in charge of developing an exhibit for the 40th Anniversary of Durham Region that celebrated both the Region's past and present. We displayed artefacts and records in a chronological fashion, starting with our earliest records (1852) to present. I also designed a 3'x20' banner of selected Council Photos from 1889-2014. I designed a 2'x3' newspaper montage of the transition from Ontario County to Durham Region in 1973. It was a very successful exhibit, the largest the Regional Archives has put on to date, garnering both attention from municipal politicians and the media. In addition, I also interviewed, filmed and edited two oral history projects of prominent members of the Regional Municipality of Durham.
