I worked with the Director and Trustees on the acquisition of a new museum collection, and transfer via Acceptance in Lieu of historic boats. I prepared and submitted applications to the National Heritage Memorial Fund and to other charitable trusts to fund a £365,000 salvage operation to prepare the collection for restoration. Working with specialist contractors I planned and oversaw the removal from the water and safe storage of the collection.
