Kinetic is Australia and New Zealand’s biggest bus network. Originally owning Melbourne's SkyBus, it now operates 52 bus contracts from 49 depots from Cairns to Hobart and Auckland to Dunedin, covering urban and regional services and specialist capabilities such as airport, school and charter services. The business is backed by two major shareholders - OPTrust (one of Canada's largest pension funds) and Infrastructure Capital Group (one of Australia’s leading infrastructure managers) - along with local management shareholders. Provided assistance to the CFO on a number of group finance projects.

Oversaw all financial reporting and budgeting for Kinetic’s SkyBus and Telford’s business units. Managed a team of eight, including overseeing the business units’ payroll functions and provided guidance to other Controllers as business acquisitions occurred. Also undertook Kinetic group tasks including consolidation, accounting for new acquisitions, group cash flow management, supporting banking covenant compliance and reporting, and assistance with taxation compliance.

A member of the capital markets and accounting consulting services team within the assurance practice. As a technical accountant, the role involves advising on the application of accounting standards and financial reporting obligations for audit clients as well as accounting advisory on transactions and deals for non-audit clients. Worked with ASX listed businesses, multinationals and other large companies across a range of industries including retail, construction, resources & mining, not-for-profit and financial services.
