Community Action Network partners with children, youth, and families in under-resourced Washtenaw County neighborhoods to create better futures for themselves and improve the communities in which they live. My role is to help find and maintain sustainable forms of revenue that will allow us to continue working with the community. This is done through strategic partnerships with local businesses and community members, individual donors, and local foundations. Together we help to create brighter futures here in Wasntenaw County.

As one of the fundraising VISTA's at Community Action Network, I help create, promote, and execute our events and fundraisers. - Design emails and paper materials for all CAN fundraising campaigns and events, including social media post. - Represent CAN at many networking events, outreach events, volunteer recruitment, etc. to educate the community on CAN's mission and how they can get involved. - Coordinate the outreach of CAN fundraisers and the communication with donors and prospective donors. - Help run the annual golf outing, including the outreach to corporations, golfers, Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department, the golf outing committee, and all of donors. -Manage CAN's donor relations: outreach, solicitations, and follow-up.

Univeristy of Michigan Credit Union is a member-owned, not for profit cooperative focused on the University of Michigan community. My role as a Member Service Representative was to help customers with any banking or financial needs. As a UMCU team member, I strived to aMAIZE all of our community members, staff, and customers. Each interaction was dedicated to the member and their personal needs and desires. On a daily basis, I helped with teller transactions, balancing out each night, loan services (cars and personal), and ATM transactions.
